The Assistant Director (AD) FCS&CA Ganderbal, Naseer Ahmad Baba on Thursday took a surprise visit to various sale centers of Ganderbal and Kangan area to check the distribution of foodgrains under PMGKAY, NFSA and JKFES schemes and functioning of POS machines.
During his visit the officer interreacted with various beneficiaries who express their satisfaction with the field functionaries of the department.
The officer directed the concerned storekeepers to carry out the online sales so that the database is checked and purified and no beneficiary suffers when the department switches to fully automatic supply chain management mode.
